This policy describes how Timothy & Thread, operated by Steven Timothy LLC, handles information when you browse timothyandthread.com, contact us or shop with us.

Information used to serve you

We receive the details you enter, such as your name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, order contents, account details and customer service messages. Technical records may include an IP address, browser information and access logs used to operate and protect the website. Do not send card numbers or other sensitive financial details in a contact message.

We use this information to process orders, arrange delivery, provide service, maintain an account if you create one, address fraud or misuse, and meet recordkeeping obligations. The contact form uses your email as a reply address and sends your message to our customer care mailbox. Creating an account is optional when guest checkout is available.

Essential cookies and your choice

The store uses necessary cookies for functions such as keeping products in your bag, recognizing your shopping session, signing in and protecting forms. These can include woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* and WordPress login cookies when those features are used. They are set as needed for the service you request.

Our consent preference is saved in the tt_cookie_choice cookie and in this browser’s local storage. The preference lasts up to one year for the cookie; local storage remains until cleared or changed. We do not currently load analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Choosing Decline leaves only necessary functionality and the saved preference. When information is shared

Customer information is not offered for sale, and we do not use it for cross-context advertising.

Retention and security

Order and service records are kept for as long as needed to provide support, maintain business records and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Account information is retained while needed for the account, subject to those obligations. We use access controls and HTTPS to protect information; no electronic system can promise absolute security.

Your requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete information, or make another privacy request available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and retain records that we are legally required to keep. We do not discriminate against customers for exercising applicable privacy rights. The store is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
